Primary duties and responsibilities
- Conduct neuropsychological and psychometric assessments
- Ongoing liaison with client management teams
- Work with short, medium, and longer-term client presentations
- Maintain professional case notes and ethical standards
Selection criteria
Essential qualifications
- Full AHPRA registration as a Psychologist
- Endorsement by AHPRA in the area of Clinical Neuropsychology
- Medicare provider registration
- Working with Children Check and National Police Check
- Minimum 3 years postgraduate experience as a fully registered psychologist
Knowledge, skill & experience
- Demonstrated skill in counselling adolescents and adults
- Proficiency with assessment tools (WPPSI-IV, WISC-V, WIAT-III and similar)
- Ability to engage clients effectively
- Independent caseload management within a team environment
- Strong communication skills
Desirable
- ADI-R / ADOS-2 autism testing qualification
- Computer literacy
- Experience with high-functioning autism / ADHD adults
- Supervision qualifications for psychology interns
